Just ordered aTriton Cinema system and definitely looking forward to receiving them. My Infinity Preludes now go to my oldest son since he is a bit jealous that my youngest son has my 30 year old Infinity RS-3's. Yes, I tend to keep my speakers for a while.
Really pleased to be back to a "ribbon" tweeter like the EMIT in the RS-3's.
Sandy & crew: Thanx for being involved with your customer base. Reminds of "way back" when I was a recent EE graduate and wrote a whole bunch of engineering questions to Bob Carver before I bought my C-4000 (a VERY expensive purchase for me at the time!) - and he actually answered me!
Thanx for creating what seems to be a very good compromise of range, imaging, bass extension, and "naturalism" - and at a very reasonable price.

I just bought 4 tritons. I am having low frequency sounds from the speakers when idle. Is there something wrong with the speakers?


Speaker are suppose to be completely silent right? when not in use?


Another thing i found out is. Using the lfe is bad.

Using the speakers as full range speaker is much better.

I am using audessy xt32. , dtr 80.2 reciever.

The speaker when idle sound like mechanic noises or low frency sound. pls reply asap

All four speakers with a LF noise sounds like a ground hum problem in your home. I have forwarded your comments to our tech support personnel.
