This is not a blu-ray, but a very cool and well done YouTube video. A revised version of David Bowie's Space Oddity, recorded by Commander Chris Hadfield aboard the International Space station.

HI MOBrien,
That was GREAT, AWESOME, WONDERFUL!!!!!
That guy can sing and it was sooooo well done. That really gave the song the full meaning.
I really enjoyed it, even though I am just listening through my terrible laptop speakers, and the vid stopped about 8 times during the song, my internet connection here is not that good.
Bowie was on top of his game like never before, nor since, when he did that song, IMHO.
Thanks for sharing that and for becoming a real part of this forum.
MUCH appreciated!!!!!
God Bless,
Wayne

I still don't see how there can be MO Brien, when there aint been NO Brien yet.
God bless the child that's got his own.

Eric Clapton Guitar Festival Crossroads
Great sound, magical guitar work and fantastic up close and personal video. There is five hours of concert video on this Blu-ray, 45 songs. Blues, country, jazz and rock, something for everyone.
My GoldenEar system handled it all with ease. I felt like I was actually on the stage. The sound completely surrounded me. In some songs there were 5-6 guitars playing on stage at the same time. I was able to distinguish the individual guitars floating in different locations on the sound stage in my room.
I spent some time switching between 2 channel and surround. Each gave a completely different listening experience. In surround I felt like I was seated on the stage. In 2 channel I felt like I was front row center.

Good one MOBrien,
I have 2 of these crossroads concerts from previous years and they are GREAT!!!!! Do you have others? Just wondered how this year compares?
Enjoyed your comparisons between 2 channel and surround sound.
I am getting spoiled by these kinds of concerts! I MUCH prefer being able to see the musicians BIG TIME. I MOSTLY prefer surround sound to 2 channel, nearly always. So, 2 channel audio (as in my beloved CDs) have now moved down to 3rd on my list.
I will have to get this.
This is my kind of music and experience.
MOBrien, I really appreciate what you bring to this forum, REALLY glad you have joined in!!!!\

Wayne,
This is the first one I have purchased. I have watched the 2010 Crossroads. I think I'm going to get it. What years do you have?

Hey MOBrien,
I have got 2010 and 2004.
The 2010 is blu ray and wonderful PQ and sound.
I think I like the 2004 better because of some of the performances, starting with Clapton's Cocaine and ending with ZZ Top, and LOTS of great stuff in between.
Really, both are great for different reasons.
Maybe this is the last time I will see/hear JJ Cale?
Enjoy,
Blessings,
Wayne
