Guys, "Currently Playing" has gotten to 500 pages and has trouble loading more. Bro Anthem's wildly successful post has out done itself.
So I will post here, perhaps this will get some traction and work better.
First post for here? How to get this thread going?
I would not dream of posting elevator music, but yours is welcome Bro Anthem. And because I love him so much, I will not post banjo straight off the bat.
I have this on DVD-Audio and cannot tell you how great (the whole album) it sounds:

Anthem, maybe your posts will work here. Or not, who knows?
God Bless, Wayne

John Swana - Joe Magnarelli Sextet / Philly-New York Junction (1998) -- Buffalo

Dazzling set from two extraordinary trumpeters. Press play, then repeat. One play is not enough. This cd is an excellent piece of music.

Well, you heard it here folks...Wayne Loves me! I never doubted it for a second.
As you may or may not know, Wayne and his wife Jeen, have invited Juanita and I to their Ponderosa in Thailand many times...8k miles is a fer piece to walk, so for the time being we'll just Love each other from afar.

Wayne i wish you all the best on your new thread.
Perhaps this will draw in the occasional site seer and give them some ambition to post some new stuff.
Decware Zen Torii mk4 > McIntosh MC152 > Emotiva xpa1 Mono's > Anthem Statement P2 > Primaluna ProLogue Premium Preamp > Morrow Audio > Oppo 205 > Decware ZLC > Triton Reference

Every great performance deserves an Audience!

Gee, Wayne, no banjo stuff at first??? :P

I think it's great there are now a couple threads to handle the "what's playing/what do I like traffic". For sure, bottom of the page posts on Anthem's thread get delayed, sometimes a LOT (still think it has to do with file size). Kudos to Anthem for creating such a great thread to attract so many posts!!!

T Cobe has been quiet for awhile... must be travelling, earning all sorts of cash for his next audiophile acquisition. :)

I still say, SOMEDAY, we need to find a way to "get together" and compare notes and systems. Man, would I love a tour of all the great systems, and music collections represented on this forum!!!!

Good stuff! Keep 'em coming!

Happy listening!

Okay, it's been a few days without any banjo. Time to inject a little Yee-Haw Factor! I also truly enjoy this album and the sound quality is amazing. Demo worthy for sure!

Rick, I have been on the road this week. Unfortunately I've been spending a lot versus earning. It's going to be a while for any upgrades... :( Thankfully, I'm flying home today and have a few new movies to watch waiting for me when I get back!

Thanks to Wayne, Anthem, and Rick for keeping these threads going and the camaraderie! I enjoy the banter and music.

Cheers,

T Cobe

Thanks Guys,
I too enjoy the music and camaraderie.
Tough time here, as the King of Thailand died today. He reigned for 70 years, longest reigning monarch. Born in America too.

So I am walking and listening to Tacet's Tube Only "Night Music".
Guess that gives a new meaning to sweating to the oldies!!!!

God Bless,
Wayne
