Yes, we won't mention who they beat today, since somebody we know and love lives in that State.
It was the little blond girl's first game there.
My SIL has season tickets.
Miss that, such fun.
God Bless,
Wayne

RE: the hugo 2 looks - I guess it’s subjective. I like the looks, but the sound from the DAC section is the star of the show... it’s phenomenal. Plug that into a system running tritons and you’ll be blown away!

For un-amped, private listening - I have a pair of earsonics velvet v2’s. They have adjustable bass - and probably have the best bass I’ve ever heard from an in-ear. www.earsonics.com/in-ear-monitors/en/velvet/

Triton Two front L/R
SuperSat 50c center
Triton Seven surround L/R
SuperSat 50 surround rear L/R
AVR Marantz sr6005
Amp Marantz mm7025
DAC Fostex HP-A8C
Velodyne optimum 10” sealed, back left corner
Velodyne 8” sealed, front right corner

Sorry, still nothing to report other than Sandy would like to have a headphone in the line. And yes, certainly an over ear design utilizing the folded ribbon will likely be the first product direction.

Thanks Moderator Dude, but that sounded a WHOLE LOT like "don't hold yer breath"!
And "over ear" yes, but that does not mean closed back Bro Rick.

Thanks Timecop, those look like great in ear monitors, that is what I mean (except only custom work for me) for private listening and not bothering my beautiful darling.

I will just have to take your word for the sound of the Hugo 2, at that price and the reported fit and finish shortcomings I have seen reported, it probably sounds great but I would not think of buying it. But glad you are enjoying it.
God Bless,
Wayne

Eh, I’ve read of ONE person nitpick a fit & finish problem on the Hugo 2. I’ve seen outstanding $60k cars with more visual flaws. But you know what they say... when you’re just looking for something wrong, eventually, you’ll find it.

"...will likely be the first product direction."

Just my .02....

If GET produces a "reference" level headphone I would seriously consider purchasing it. By reference, I would imagine the name of the product includes "reference". If whatever headphones are developed and available for sale are obvious "entry level", I'll pass.
