Picked up two SuperSat 50s and a single Force 3 on Saturday (will add second Force 3 when the wireless kit is available). Have the SuperSat 50s on Sanus stands using the L bracket. Does not feel real secure to me. Also the wire management system does not seem to work well with the Transparent speaker wires. When I fire it up for the 1st time will have someone by each of the speakers to make sure they do not fall. As such, I am eagerly awaiting the Golden Ear floor stands. In the interim, would appreciate info on how others have attached to speakers to the Sanus stands. Thanks.

The GoldenEar stands will be available next month. I used that stand/bracket combo you mentioned with similar results. I found tying my too-heavy-for-this-setup speaker wires to the post helped to keep things more stable.

I'm currently using Sanus systems "Hover Foundation" stands. They come with a wide variety of connectivity options - which is good and bad. The hover series has a much larger base than the EFT, and is much more stable - albeit it looks a lot larger as well.

For the rear SS3's, I'm using the angled bar with a basic T mount, screwed into the metal mounting fitting on the SS3. The Hover Foundation stand allows me to get the SS3's about 5 or so feet off the ground, and angled down towards my listening position. The large footprint base keeps things very steady.

For the front SS50's, I'm using the same Hover Foundation stands, but with the optional straight bars and L bracket, screwed into the upper mount on the SS50. I have the L bracket facing downward - and the SS50's are placed just far enough away from the mounting pole to allow for banana plugs.

In both cases, I'm using the supplied foam cushions so that no part of the mounting brackets touch the SS3/50's.

The rear SS3's are very stable, mounted high, and are positioned very well with the large base hidden behind furniture. The front SS50s are stable and placed well - but the hover foundation stands aren't that aesthetically pleasing out in the open - due to their large footprint, and the fact that the L bracket protrudes from the back of the mount.

I am looking forward to see what GE releases, so that I can display the SS50's in better style.

Agreed - that's been my experience as well. I think you will find the coming GoldenEar stands to be much nicer functionally and aesthetically. Less than a month away, we should have pictures up on the website shortly.

Pictures should be any day I'm told. Unfortunately the stands were delayed slightly as one of our perfectionist engineers was not happy with cosmetic on a plastic part and requested a tool rework, which delayed the stand about 30 days. We hope to have them in dealers' showrooms and available for orders in early September. Sorry for the delay, thanks for the continued interest and patience.
