Thanks, Moderator Dude. Ordering two for yourself is pretty high praise! It is a handsome little sub and generating that kind of output is really a feat. When I saw the pictures for the first time, I immediately thought about getting one for my living room. Despite its cavernous volume, I don't have any convenient place to setup a sub. The X is just about the perfect size I would need to place it in a corner, behind my AV components and stand.

I completely understand GETs perspective from a marketing stand point. Even a large attractive sub is not going to appeal to many buyers and making life-style sizes certainly makes more sense. Again, the bigger driving force for me would be musicality of the sub and tonal matching with the rest of my GET system. I'm pretty confident that a SuperSubXXL or even the X would provide more than enough additional bass for my setup. I'd bet with either that I would only be using about 1/4 or less of its power handling capabilities based on how restrained my T1s are set now for LFE.

Thanks again for passing along the info. It's unfortunate that more reviewers don't want to cover subwoofers. I'd suspect that their reviews on subs would get just as many hits as other products. Once I'm in the market for a replacement sub, I'll definitely take a road trip to listen to the SuperSubs. The nearest dealer that may have one on display is about a 90 minute drive. BTW, I like the way GET didn't dignify XTZ Sound with a response on Facebook. Clearly they are jealous of your success. Keep up the great work and continuous innovation! Thanks to you and the entire GET team for creating such a fantastic sounding and affordable speaker line!

Cheers,

T Cobe

This is one of the most cruel ironies. You love something so much you go into the business but it doesn't necessarily pay that well. Well, I suppose Rolls Royce factory workers face the same dilemma.

Aside from better room dispersion, is there any other reason you went for 2 Xs instead of 1 XXL ?

Would 1 XXL go deeper than 2 Xs? Would 1 XXL sound musically "tighter" than 2 Xs ?

When will the 220v XXL and X come out ? :)

thank you
